Temporary traffic lights are used on roads to control traffic safely when there is some form of temporary restriction on the road. You must get a permit from us before you can put temporary traffic lights anywhere on the Council road network.

Please download the application form:
The completed application should be returned to roadworksenquiries@argyll-bute.gov.uk at least seven working days prior to any proposed start date, and works should only commence when in receipt of actual permit.
