Course Details
The course is designed for professionals who work with children and families from pre-birth to 5. It aims to develop their knowledge and skills to identify and report child welfare and protection concerns, respond and contribute to assessment and child protection processes, and work collaboratively with all agencies who support children and families in ÓûÂþɬ.
‘in the early years, safeguarding means protection from harm and promoting the welfare of babies, infants and young children – as well as supporting new and expectant parents to meet the needs of their child. This includes ensuring you have appropriate training, policies and procedures in place and that everyone in your group or organisation knows what they should do to keep children safe’ NSPCC Safeguarding in Early Years
