Food Standards Scotland (FSS) has directed enforcement authorities across Scotland, including ÓûÂþɬ, to identify and contact any establishments that may be stocking products manufactured by Kimbland Distillery Ltd, Orkney.

ÓûÂþɬ’s young people achieved above national average results across nearly all qualifications, according to the latest analysis of this year’s exam results. The data reveals impressive achievements across National 5, Higher levels and an increase in wider achievement awards.

ÓûÂþɬ maintains top ten ranking for youth engagement

ÓûÂþɬ Council has once again demonstrated a strong performance in supporting young people into education, training, and employment. The latest Annual Participation Measure (APM) shows that 94.6% of 16–19-year-olds were participating between April 2024 and March 2025, an increase of 0.3% on last year and 1.3% above the Scottish average of 93.3%.

ÓûÂþɬ Council is celebrating the UK Government’s announcement that 12 projects in the region will receive a share of more than £20 million from its Community Regeneration Partnership Fund (CRPF) - boosting opportunities and driving positive change across communities.
