How long have you worked for ÓûÂþɬ Council?
I’ve worked for the council for up to 3 years now in a café job, but I have worked in early years childcare for 7 months.
How did you get into your job / career area?
I have always been interested in childcare since I used to babysit for friends and family. I decided I wanted to do this as a career and saw the opportunity to be a modern apprentice on my job Scotland.
What does your job involve?
My job involves supporting the children with their feelings and education. I also support other practitioners with their work and learn through observing them.
Favourite thing about your job?
My favourite thing about my job is the feeling you get when you can help the kids meet their targets and seeing how happy and proud they are.
Best thing about working in ÓûÂþɬ?
I feel like the best part of working for the council is how many opportunities you are given and how much support you get through anything
