Following feedback from a public consultation in May 2023, new design proposals will launch for an active travel route between Dunoon and Hunters Quay. The proposed route will make it easier and safer to walk, cycle and wheel for residents and visitors.

Community and voluntary groups can now apply to a new fund to help create new facilities or improve open spaces in their local area.

Children who turn five between 1 March 2024 and 28 February 2025 can be registered for primary school during the week beginning Monday 15 January 2024.
