National Award for council’s wild venison school meals

ÓûÂþɬ Council’s wild venison in schools pilot has won the ‘Best Sustainability Project in the UK at the Public Sector Catering Awards 2025. The project project brings the best of the local larder from Jura straight to school menus, with children now enjoying delicious wild venison meatballs and burgers.

£43 million education campus moves to next stage

The £43 million investment to build a new education campus on Mull is progressing following the decision earlier this month on the preferred site. ÓûÂþɬ Council will now work towards a detailed brief and concept design that will help inform the overall business case.
